P5 | Observem la bicicleta a la ciutat

Treball en grups de 3-4 alumnes.

Es tracta de seleccionar una zona àmplia al voltant de l’institut i repartirla entre els grups d’alumnes.

Sortiran a recórrer la zona assignada i a observar els diversos elements que formen part de la via pública (senyalització, carril bici, aparcaments per a bicis, mobiliari urbà, punts negres per als usuaris de la bici…). Registraran en un quadre tots els elements observats i el lloc on estan situats (elements fixos) o on es produeixen (elements en moviment). Un cop fet això, passaran a analitzar quines són les situacions anòmales i a fer propostes creatives per a solucionar-les.

Se’ls ha de comentar i suggerir que es poden posar en contacte amb l’ajuntament (personalment o mitjançant el correu electrònic) i presentar una instància (segons model oficial) per a solucionar aquesta irregularitat observada, o anar a veure la policia local per a fer una denúncia si es tracta d’una infracció de trànsit que es repeteix en algun lloc de la zona seleccionada.

Per a poder realitzar aquestes propostes per correu electrònic caldrà que entrin a la pàgina web de l’ajuntament i localitzin aquests documents per descarregar-los i poder-los emplenar.

Objectius

  • Observar la senyalització, l’existència de carrils bici, carrers segurs, punts negres, infraestructures adaptades a la bici… en recorreguts o zones prefixades.
  • Investigar quins són els serveis bàsics i les infraestructures per a bicicletes que hi ha al municipi.
  • Registrar la informació en quadres de doble entrada.
  • Presentar la informació de manera clara i ordenada.
  • Aplicar criteris rigorosos en la recollida, el registre i la presentació de la informació.
  • Analitzar la informació registrada i fer propostes creatives per a afavorir l’ús de la bicicleta a la ciutat.
  • Dirigir aquestes propostes cap a la institució pertinent (ajuntament, policia local, associacions de ciclistes…) en el format oficial (instàncies, documents de suggeriments o queixes…).
  • Participar activament i aportar el treball assignat per a aconseguir objectius de grup.

Valoració

Aquesta activitat pot ser un pas previ a la realització d’un estudi estadístic o es pot fer com a activitat única.

En el darrer cas, la valoració serà la de comentar a classe els elements i les accions observades i que cada grup posi en comú les seves propostes a les institucions pertinents. Si es dóna el cas de propostes repetides es poden fer en grup i consensuar les propostes per a trametre-les conjuntament a la institució corresponent.
